Our most spacious activations zone - free of any obstructions. The George Street Special Events Zone is located next to entrance of the Rideau Centre, the area’s largest and most popular shopping mall. This zone is best suited for corporate activations that require a large space with multiple power outlets.

Special Events Zone Plaza: Over 2500 square feet of event space (33 X 78).
Access to multiple power outlets.

York Street East serves as a strategic zone for pop-up markets, festivals, and events that require a large amount of space in a high-traffic area.

This zone includes William Street Plaza, a central artery that connects York and Clarence, the two primary bar and restaurant strips in the area.

Upon booking, parking on York is cordoned off to accommodate vendor stalls - directly across from popular restaurants including Lowertown Brewery and The Keg Steakhouse.

All events must be public.

Amenities:

William Street Plaza: 3500 square feet
Space for market stand allocation: 298 X 22
Event parking spaces.
Access to public washrooms.

All events must be public.

238 feet of vending space on either side of a 14 foot median.

Serving as the public space directly in front of the iconic Ottawa letters, York Street Plaza is a popular space for public gatherings of all kinds including community events and musical performances.

All events must be public.

Amenities:

Square footage: over 4000 square feet (65 X 63).
Space for market stand allocation: A portion of York Street West may be used in conjunction with York Street Plaza.
Optional activation of the Ottawa Letters (see link below).
Access to multiple power outlets (120 volt & 240 volt).
Access to public washrooms.
